Rev. Jennifer Andone grew up in Roswell, Georgia where she was a member of the Roswell United Methodist Church. She attended Stetson University in Deland, Florida on a French horn scholarship, graduating summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in sociology and a minor in music. Following college, she attended the Candler School of Theology, Emory University where she earned a Masters of Divinity degree. Jennie was ordained in the United Methodist Church in 1990.
Prior to being appointed to Elizabeth Lee UMC, Jennie served as pastor-in-charge at Trion UMC. She has also served as pastor of Inman UMC in Fayetteville and Field’s Chapel in Canton. Other appointments include serving as a staff associate at Mt. Bethel and Mt. Zion, both in Marietta, Northbrook in Roswell, and Fayetteville First.
Jennie is married to Rev. Herzen Andone, Director of Connectional Ministries for the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church. They are the parents of two sons, Dakin, who is the worship leader at Peachtree Road UMC in Atlanta and an intern with CNN, and Dylan, who is a student at the University of Georgia.
Residing with Jennie in the parsonage is Yoda, a.k.a. “The Mean Church Dog”. You can often find them walking the loop together in Chickamauga.
