Caleb grew up on the mission field in San Jose, Costa Rica. He moved to Dallas, Texas to finish high school and served his church as a volunteer and later, an intern. Caleb moved to Fort Collins, Colorado to begin his college career as an environmental engineering major. While there, he taught as a paraprofessional in an extensive autism program. The summer of 2017, Caleb moved to Rossville to marry his wife Aylis and is finishing his education at UTC.
Caleb and Aylis have a heart for ministry and hope to one day follow in their families’ footsteps of international mission work. They are big advocates of environmental care and have built a sustainable tiny house for themselves and their Saint Bernard (Kodak), Bengal (Libra), and two sugar gliders (Aspen and Nessie). Caleb’s pursuit of an environmental engineering degree and Aylis’ pursuit of a degree in marine biology are for the purpose of caring for God’s creation.
