So often, we get caught up in the day to day of life. We, as men, fall into patterns in our home and work life that go unchecked. We all fall short sometimes when it comes to our relationships with God, with family, and with others. We all need to be in community with other men in order to reflect and act on strengthening those relationships. This summer, ELUMC will host it’s first annual Men’s Retreat. We’ll be staying up in Turtletown, TN between the Ocoee and Hiwassee rivers. Guys will have to opportunity to get to know each other, worship together, have discussion, and, last but not least, have fun. There will be opportunities to go fishing, hiking, rafting, or even to just relax. While this may be a men’s retreat, we will do anything but retreat. Consider this more of a Men’s Charge!

White Water Rafting
Those that are interested will head out Saturday afternoon to raft the Hiwassee River. Bring $20 if you’d like to go rafting.
Fishing will be an option as well. The property is located on a handful of ponds and we will be a few miles from the Ocoee and Hiwassee rivers.
