Youth Ministry at Elizabeth Lee UMC is a vibrant student ministry for middle school and high school students, which strives to provide a variety of opportunities and experiences to draw teens into active participation in the life, mission, and work of the faith community.
Youth Sunday school meets every Sunday in the Youth House located in the Lillian Ellis Center. This class is for all students 6th through 12th Grade and meets after The Well service at 11:00AM.
During this Sunday School hour, the youth gather to participate in Bible Study, fun games, fellowship, and other life giving activities. Students are encouraged to grow together as they embark on their faith journeys.
Youth Group at Elizabeth Lee UMC meets Sundays from 5:30PM to 7:00PM and is open to students 6th Grade through 12th Grade.
The youth start out with a free dinner from 5:30PM to 6:00PM in the Fellowship Hall, and from 6:00PM to 7:00PM the youth participate in Bible studies, events, service projects, mission trips, among other activities to give students a chance to participate in church life, community service, developing their own faith in Jesus Christ, and discovering new friendships. The goal here at Elizabeth Lee UMC is to love God and love others just like Jesus.
The Ekklesia class is a laid back and informal Sunday School Class where students are encouraged to participate in small group activities and grow in their faith alongside each other.
