Elizabeth Lee UMC has a Women’s Ministry that is very involved in fellowship, outreach, and serving the church. The Women’s Ministry at Elizabeth Lee UMC is diverse and offers a variety of different opportunities for women to form community and get plugged in to the life of the church.
Moms In Prayer meets once a month in the Lillian Ellis Center to enjoy fellowship, prayer, and homemade lunch. Childcare is provided during gatherings.
Moms In Prayer is part of a worldwide community of moms praying for their kids and schools that has ministry locations in more than 140 countries and across all 50 states. Moms in prayer at Elizabeth Lee UMC is a sweet community of loving moms who want to cover their children in prayer. All moms are welcome and so are their little ones! Please contact Amber Burns at email@example.com for more information.
The Women’s Softball Team at Elizabeth Lee recruits in the Spring for a season that lasts from late Spring to early Summer. Games are played in the evenings once or twice a week and family, friends, and the church community are encouraged to attend games in support of our church.
Anyone is welcome to join the softball team. Most years the team consists of some women who have played in high school or college and some women who have never played softball before in their lives. The women’s softball team is a ministry that is based on women bonding over sporting and exercise, so everyone is encouraged to participate.
